'Open Land'

£850.00

Oil on Board

Framed and ready to hang

Size (inc frame): 103cm x 73cm

Image Size: 80cm x 50cm

Nestled on the north Wales coastline, where the power of the irish sea exerts a heavy influence, the area around Dinas Dinlle comprises a mesmerizing mix of elements that collectively constitute a unique, sense of place.

Set against the backdrop of the Eryri range formerly known as Snowdonia not far from the slate-mined tops of the Trefor peaks and home to an ancient hillfort, the area is testament to thousands of years of human habitation. A harsh, compelling landscape shadowed by big weather laden skies, undulating terrain and the ever-restless sleeping giant that is the irish sea, an open land - a sum of its parts like no other.
