'Nature's Debris'

£895.00

Oil on Board

Framed and ready to hang

Image Size: 61cm x 60cm

Framed Size: 81cm x 70cm

A casualty of either felling or natural forces, the log of a fallen tree lay on the waters’ edge. Stripped of its bark by sea and decay, its log lay bleached by the sun, having found a temporary resting place that would be changed with each tidal flow. A strong sun cast a distinctive shadow– almost forming a mirror image of this noble fallen sculpture, onto its fleeting bed of wet sand; ‘natures debris’ at its most graceful.
